The Banreservas representative offices are informative and processing offices whose objective is to connect and relate clients residing in other countries with economic interests in the Dominican Republic, in order to link them with the Dominican banking system.
- Serve as a link between clients (individuals and legal entities) and the headquarters in the Dominican Republic.
- Assist in the processing of application for products and services.
- Coordinate and collaborate with commercial activities.
- Foster relationships.
- Explore the market.
- Carry out marketing activities in the host country.
- Support in establishing commercial ties with the bank in the Dominican Republic.
- Organize events in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Dominican Republic or with the Dominican community in the U.S.A.
The representative office will provide specific services therefore, the following will not be available:
- Cashiers´ area or ATMs.
- Receipt of payments. For example: cash, checks, etc. will not be received.
- Financial intermediation operations. For example: deposits, withdrawals, payments, etc.
- Savings Account (DOP/USD) (Individual and legal entity)
- Mortgage loans (Individual and legal entity)
- Referral to the Contact Center
- Assistance to access online banking (TuBanco / App Banreservas)
First method:
You can, by your own means, download all the product/service request forms from the website. Fill them out properly and send them electronically to the office, from which you will receive confirmation and feedback via email, or you can make an appointment, through the website, to visit the office and deliver the original documents to continue processing your application.
Second method:
Make an appointment through the website to visit the representative office and receive advice regarding the process of requesting products and services. At the office they will provide you with the necessary documentation, which you can complete and deposit there, or send it later by email to start processing your application. You will receive confirmation of receipt and feedback regarding your request via email.
